Jonah's Riddle
Jonah's Riddle, by Marcia Trimble and illustrated by George Ulrich. Using the sound of the sea as heard in a seashell, and islander named Jonah teaches a cowboy and a sailor that stories can only come alive when someone really listens to them. This book is written for kids ages 4 to 8 and retails for $15.95. The website includes a four-page PDF stage script that enables kids to act out the book! The website also has sheet music and interactive ideas and games so that the book could be used as the theme for a children's party or homeschool co-op event.
The book ultimately teaches children through riddles and rhymes that we all have a story to share with others. The illustrations are bright and whimsical. I hope you enjoy sharing this story with your children!
