Marcia Trimble's life as an author began "once upon a time" when stories, inspired by her daughter's childhood interests, were running around in her head, enticing her into a career in publishing. Published as children's picture books, the Trimble Tots stories will 'live happily ever after!' The Trimble Tots Collection of 16 titles is evolving into Stories on Stage, a program of books, songs, and plays that allows children to play their way to reading fluency.

As a young adult, Trimble moved from Massachusetts to California where she lives with Charlie Trimble, and their daughter's dog Peppy, the pet that inspired her book, Peppy's Shadow. Books have always been the tools of her life, as a graduate of Boston University majoring in American Literature, as an early childhood reading specialist, and since 1998, writing and publishing children's picture books.

Trimble loves to see her stories through the eyes of her online customer reviewers, 7- to 12-year-olds, babysitters, mothers, and teachers.

Peppy's Shadow, introduces shadow puppetry and focuses on doing what comes naturally with a dose of individuality.

Trimble likes to reach out to children with positive stories about things close to her heart. She likes to create characters that lead readers to an appreciation of their individuality and help develop self-esteem.
